Junior dos Santos wants to be champion again

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship or the UFC Heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos knows he has to work his socks to regain the championship belt again in the near future. The Brazilian, who returned to Octagon after a break of 14 months to beat Stipe Miocic recently, has his eyes firmly set on yet another run as the champion, but he knows he has to work a lot harder if he wants to realize that dream.
Dos Santos suffered two consecutive defeats at the hands of Cain Velasquez, the current UFC Heavyweight champion and knows he has to put together a strong run to get another crack at the title. Dos Santos said that whatever happened in the previous matches against Velasquez, he has to put that behind him.

The Brazilian beat the Cuban American inside one minute in their first meeting before suffering two devastating losses at his hands. Junior dos Santos has said that it doesn’t matter who the person is, every fighter in the UFC wants to have a crack at the title and he is no different.

Cigano stated that he feels a lot better after his victory against Miocic and is looking for a long run of victories and after that, the UFC will decide whether he deserves a shot at the title.

But he firmly believes that he is in the right frame of mind once again. According to Junior dos Santos, he can become the champion once again and have a long reign if he can get his focus right, train hard with the right people backing him. He says that he has been champion once and knows what it takes to become the champion and that is the one goal he is fighting for, to wear that gold belt on his waist again.
